New York – Feb. 10, 2009 – Sonic Boom, a leading publisher of mobile entertainment applications and games, today announced the appointments of Josh Grant as the Chief Operating Officer and Lou Fasulo as the Senior Vice President of Publishing. Through these appointments and recent move to an expanded office space, David Danon, CEO of Sonic Boom, is committed to investing in the company’s growth and making big bets in the space.

Grant takes the reins in driving Sonic Boom’s profitability while overseeing the company’s publishing, product development, and post-production. Grant joins Danon in shaping the company’s vision and priorities. Grant was previously the Vice President of Content Strategy and Acquisition at Vivendi Games Mobile. Prior to Vivendi, he was a Senior Associate at Argo Global Capital, and started his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch.

"Sonic Boom is poised to make major moves in the digital entertainment arena, well beyond its success in publishing music and lifestyle products," said Grant. "iPhone, Android, and cross-platform integration are just part of the equation as we aggressively extend our footprint."

The company established its preeminence by publishing bestselling applications, including ToneMaker®, Wallpaper MakerTM, and Name that Tune®! on leading US wireless carriers. Sonic Boom has also released a series of Facebook applications, including You’ve Been Slap’d. More information on these products can be found at www.sonicboommedia.com.

Fasulo oversees the company’s marketing, sales and business development. Prior to Sonic Boom, Fasulo was Vice President of Distribution at Vivendi Games Mobile where he led sales and partner management to achieve the #6 sales ranking in North America. He previously held management positions at AT&T Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless), and oversaw content acquisition and product management of games and applications.

"Consumers want to play, create and share – and we’re expanding our product line-up to meet those demands, including significant expansion of our game portfolio with innovative gameplay experiences," said Fasulo. "Sonic is going beyond traditional mobile distribution models. We have a collective vision of delivering addictive content that integrates seamlessly with mobile, online, and other interactive platforms."

Other recent hires include Russell Simpkins as Director of Engineering and Matthew Manolovits as Porting Manager. Sonic Boom expects to hire 10 new employees this year.
